Prepare your file and activate the locking sound in your Tesla

Prepare the sound file
The file must be named exactly "LockChime.wav" and must not be saved in a subfolder on the USB stick.
✓ The file size must not exceed 1 MB.2
Install in your Tesla
Insert the USB stick into your Tesla.
- 1.On the touchscreen, go to: Toy box > Boombox > Locking sound
- 2.Select "USB" to activate the new locking sound.
Vehicle compatibility
LockChime customization depends on the pedestrian warning speaker (PWS).

What is PWS?
PWS (Pedestrian Warning Speaker) is the external speaker used for low-speed warning sounds. LockChime customization generally requires this hardware.
